A few of my inspiring clients
Client Proposal Design
Jen is an absolutely incredible writer but wanted some help with design – to make sure her brand was being echoed across all her touch points. I’m very proud of our projects together in my portfolio.
“Kerri designed a proposal document for me to send to my potential clients, helping me to streamline my processes and to keep things more in line with my branding at every stage. I was expecting something fairly simple, but what I got blew me away. Kerri really took the time and the initiative to get under the skin of my brand, matching colours, choosing the right fonts and imagery and coming up with simple but effective layouts that feel exactly how they should. I am so excited to start using this new layout. Thank you Kerri, you absolutely nailed it.”
Kate already knew the ins and outs of her brand and ideal client, but needed help creating a branding identity to match. With a focus on creating a playful, joyous, and friendly feel with a touch of the unexpected and some bold confidence – I worked with Kate to create a logo and sub-marks she could be proud of. The project also holds a special place in my heart as the first client branding design in my portfolio.
“Working with Kerri has been amazing. I was a little nervous about the branding process but a chat with Kerri put me at ease straight away. She took the time to listen and understand my brand and my business. She was genuinely excited to work on it and that made me feel confident that she was the right person for the job. Kerri gave me a clear insight into how the branding process would work, the cost at every stage and the time frame. And she delivered above and beyond. Her communication was excellent, anything I didn’t understand she took the time to explain which I really appreciated and everything was delivered in the time frame promised. She was patient with my process and I felt I could ask her to make any changes without it being a problem. I really felt like we were a team. I’m completely thrilled with the results and couldn’t wait to show them to everyone and I look forward to working with her on future projects. I highly recommend working with Kerri if you get the opportunity to do so.”
Kerry, from Endless Story, contacted me a couple of weeks before her new business launch. Her website was due to go live in time for the launch and her designer requested a couple of blog posts. Kerry, unsure of her own writing abilities, hoped I could help. It was a tight turnaround, but Kerry’s story inspired me and I knew she would be a joy to work with. I was right, and I’m so pleased with the content we created together.
“Recently I hired Kerri to assist me with my very first blogs for my new business website.
I have to say every aspect of her service was faultless.
When I initially contacted Kerri I really had no idea about blog creation and was rather nervous, but within minutes of talking to her she’d put me at ease and I just knew I’d found the right person to help me.
She is professional, friendly and her attention to detail is second to none. She really is a very talented lady. I would definitely recommend her services and I’m already planning what my next topics are for more blogs!
Thanks Kerri x”
Sara got in touch looking for a special gift for her niece’s Christening. I ended up creating a bespoke illustrated, rhyming short story, featuring her niece – which I then professionally printed as three A5 prints, ready for her to frame. The first ‘official’ project in my Kerri Awosile portfolio.
“I can’t begin to start with this women… she’s incredible!
It started with an idea of a gift for my niece, I wanted something special and unique. I started with the grand plan of a book but after a chat together three prints evolved into something truly special.
As all Aunties do, I think my niece is amazing and always needs a story about her and Kerri came back to me with the most adorable rhyming story and my Niece, Violet and her bath time matched with beautiful illustrations
She gave me the opportunity to make alterations so it looked even more personal and was on board with all my changes, it felt like the sky was the limit.”
Blogging & Ghost Article
Luxury wedding and event planning company, Sweetpea and Blossom contacted me to write both a blog post and PR article, in keeping with their high-end brand.
“Quick, concise and utterly professional, I cannot thank Kerri enough for the work she has put in. With tight deadlines she did more than her best to accommodate and she was a joy to work with throughout the whole process. Writing several pieces at once as well as bringing new, fresh and on brand ideas, she is an utter gem and I cannot rate her highly enough!”
Elisabeth wanted a unique and personal gift for a friend who had recently had another baby. She came to me with the idea of a bespoke painting, based on the idea of ‘peas in a pod’ which she knew had special meaning to her friend. It was such a lovely project to work on and a sweet addition to my portfolio.
Andri is one of my blogging clients, who I regularly write for. Her eye for design, creativity, and incredible expertise make her a pleasure to work with. The sneak peek images I get to glimpse from her portfolio, before other people – are just so inspiring!
Lisa, of Presents for Preemies, asked me to create three character illustrations suitable for her brand. It was so much fun creating some cute watercolour characters, with a ‘children’s toys’ concept as inspiration. I can’t wait to see what Lisa uses the illustrations for, but I’m told they will feature on many products in the future.
Jo approached me needing help getting a new message out to her audience. A keen writer herself but finding it difficult to capture the right feel in her blog posts, she asked me to help her with regular posts. Now she can run the business she wants to run.
“Kerri has been an absolute gem to work with over the last few months. I recently rebranded my company to focus on dual destination weddings (UK and Italy), Kerri’s expertise and passion for writing ensured that all my key words were seamlessly woven into the messages I wished to convey about weddings, trends, ideas and services. It was very easy to work with Kerri’s process to deliver the posts to an agreed schedule. Thank you Kerri for your collaboration.”
Anna contacted me looking for some bespoke illustrations for her new Facebook group for Greek mums in business. Already a wedding planner she knows how to work well with suppliers and she was an absolute dream client. Since finishing her illustration project she has since gone on to recommend me to a bride for some watercolour wedding stationery. I can’t wait to work with Anna again.
“I reached out to Kerri for some help with 2 illustration paintings I need for my new business venture on Tuesday (5 days ago) I was quite specific in what I had in mind and very time pressured as I needed the illustrations asap. So I contacted Kerri because I remember seeing her beautiful work on a Facebook group we are both members in and thought she is totally the person I need. Kerri was SO helpful, kind, honest and above all she listened to exactly what I wanted and totally understood me! I send her 2 terrible sketches of what I had in mind knowing that the results will be what I imaged that Kerri would do. 2 days later Kerri send me my finished illustrated painting and guess what?! They were exactly how I wanted them to be exactly how I knew Kerri’s talent would suit my illustrations! They were absolutely perfect and in perfect timing! She said she would deliver by the end of Thursday and she did! I am very happy to say that Kerri is an excellent professional with an amazing talent! She does what she loves and that shows in her work! I would highly recommend her services! Thank you Kerri it was an honour working with you.”
I helped Anna create a wonderful blog post for her wedding styling and floristry business. She has such a creative, imaginative, and magical mind – it was really fun to work with her.
“Kerri wrote a blog post for me, the blog is really nice and captures perfectly the ideas I had and tone of my business. Working with her was very easy and she is so quick! The entire process was so relaxed and I cannot wait to share the blog post! Thank you so much Kerri.”
Jacquie contacted me in search of a bespoke painting in celebration of her friends’ wedding anniversary. Together we came up with the idea of the couple’s initials, hand-painted, in front of a watercolour floral design. I thought it was such a lovely idea for a unique anniversary gift, and definitely something no one else would have bought the couple.
I’ve since heard from Jacquie that the couple were over the moon to receive something so personal.
Fen from MonAnnie was another of my amazingly talented blogging clients. I will always have immense respect for cake artists and designers (if you don’t know already that was my first business), and it was so lovely to write for such a sweet creative.
“At MonAnnie, we pride ourselves on the personal touch- our ability to directly connect with our clients, and attend to their specific needs. As our business has grown, it’s become more difficult to produce all the social interactions that we need ourselves.
Enter Kerri. She was so wonderful. She listened, researched and made sure she understood the voice of our business. She was approachable, kind, and compassionate. Offering multiple options, and being fully customisable, she produced the most beautiful post for us.
We couldn’t be more delighted with the results. Thank you Kerri!”
