The Happenings of Harriet Greenwood – Entry 3

{Previously in The Happenings of Harriet Greenwood: Having resigned from her creative advertising career, Harriet was spending most of her time at her Gran’s bookshop. In a sad twist of events her Gran died and Harriet was left the bookshop in the will.}

I’ve lived in the Weybridge flat that whole time…well – apart from three days back in 2009 when I thought I was in love with Darren and moved in with him after only four dates. Needless to say, that didn’t last and I quickly scurried back to the flat!

I’m not quite sure how I got through Gran’s funeral. It steals my breath to think about it, even now – almost two weeks later. I know the rest of the family will miss her (obviously mum will!) but Gran really was so special to me.

Suddenly having spare time during the week has been quite a culture shock!

The Happenings of Harriet Greenwood – Entry 1

The fictitious journal of Harriet Greenwood – her experiences, creative journey and, sometimes comical, life.

The Development Opportunity

Right, well….here goes. I’ve never written in a journal before. No, I take that back, that’s a lie – I did once have a secret, padlocked, zebra-print diary when I was about twelve but that doesn’t really count. I basically filled that with playground gossip and the occasional ‘life is so unfair’! Though thinking about it I can’t guarantee the latter wont happen again since those very words have had a habit of passing my lips in recent weeks.
